At the curve of the Wudanken Coal Mine's light railway, we can see the relative positions of two light rail tracks and the exclusive railway. Below is the Fushou Bridge. The second track of Mudan Station, the Ho-Cheng Coal Mine's exclusive transportation railway passed below, crossing the Mudan River to the coal storage yard on the opposite side. On the other side of the valley, the light railway of the Ho-Cheng Coal Mine wound along the mountain wall. During the Japanese ruling period, Ho-Cheng Coal Mine changed hands to Longmei Coal Mine Company in 1955. Again, Longmei was reorganized in 1964 into Qinglong Coal Mine Company. Wudankeng Coal Mine was later taken over by Taiwan Industrial and Mining Company and managed by Dingfu Coal Mine Company. In 1955, Tang Tien-Hsiu bought the mine and renamed it Mudan Coal Mine. After many years of closure, the coal mine was finally acquired and operated by Dingfu Coal Mine Company until it closed in 1991.
